Initial Ideas- None of these were chosen

My first idea was to make a sort of "mockumentary" this would be of a haunted location in Brighton.
I got inspiration from programmes such as "Most Haunted"
I would have made this an interactive documentary, containing archive footage and interviews. There would also have been a presenter.
I found that this idea would not be suitable, as there are limited resources available for me to use. It would have also been difficult to obtain interviews, or create them.

My second idea was to create an expository documentary about the coast around Brighton, including areas such as the Marina and Beachy Head. I would have used both music and voice over the footage.
This idea was then put aside as it would be too difficult to create, it would have also been difficult to fit all of the information within the length of time we had to both create and edit the footage.

My Final idea, was to create a documentary comparing the styles and prices of high street clothing shops and designer shops. this would be an interactive documentary, and also like my first idea, contain a presenter.
I found this idea would have not been suitable. this is because it would have meant asking both the company and the managers of the different shops for permission before filming on their premises, this would have caused a problem, as if they had declined, i would not have been able to film in these locations. i had already drawn up a story board for this idea, which i will be posting in another post.
